Me against the Arians..At 5.30am, I've decided, its open war against the Arians. Especially the female kind..
Its like almost every female Arian is able to jack me quite well, and worse, make me stand up and applaud at their wit..
So call this an appreciation of the enemy, but the Water Bearer shall have his day..
Shyama, Gom and Aisha (doubt she reads this), you have all been warned..

Just notice how proudly the Ram stands?? Doesn't even know its gonna be in my mutton soup tonite.. Muhahahahha...

Picture of the Day...The following picture that you see, was taken back in December 2004, but for some strange reason, I just had up to 7 people asking me to send it to them.. (Number 1 kinda got the ball rolling, and she ended it off by being number 7!!! tsk.. heh)

Clockwise: Aisha, Yours truly, Irfan, Fazilah
Its personally one of my favorites too. In fact, I got this really nice glass frame which now houses the picture. It sits on my study table back in hall. Cheers!
PS Irfan has put on a few pounds since this picture was taken. Fazilah has grown her hair. Aisha, well, she's still the same la.
PPS The one in orange ISN'T A BOY!!!

Lessons from the bottle...1) Noone is perfect. Or rather, there will always be someone out there who is better than us. Simply put, think Zinedine Zidane. There was a time, when everyone would wax lyrical about how his football was poetry in motion. Now, a certain Ronaldinho has proven to be way better than him.
There can never be someone who is cut-out for something. We all have our flaws, its about doing your very best, and keeping your head high about it. Today, you may score 28/30 for a test in Physics, tomorrow, that geeky dude from PRC would hit maximum points..
2) Indian poker is a good way of finishing up drinks. Though, the more people, the merrier it becomes..
3) Milk and alcohol do not go together - and you wonder how they came up with Baileys..
4) When calling for McDelivery in the morning, the last thing you want to do is blabber nonsense. Get the facts right, and shoot them. Don't confuse the poor lady who's taking down orders.
And when the Delivery boy comes along, do not try and diss him. All he can do, is just smile back, because you may never know if it was his spit that made it into the Iced Milo we all love to start our day with.
5) This just in, courtesy of the other prominently cranky cousin, Ms Usha. Looks can really be deceiving. You may think someone's really good looking, but wait till you hear the public opinion on it.
Oh, stop gasping in horror like you just heard me utter sthg taboo, if you happen to be doing that, I'm pretty sure you'd have passed on such comments before. Cuckoo..
Just remember, if you happen to have a problem with this point, read point 1.. =)
PS Yesterday night was really fun.. Till the next holidays guys..

What a wonderful nite...The one time I felt like some metrosexual kway teow sitting in a hair saloon, after having been duped to follow my mum and sis there. Thing is, my cousin has this puberty ceremony the next morning, (watch out for that entry) so it was their chance of doing their hair.
They conveniently forget to bring their curlers along, so I end up at the shop. And guess what, Mum asks the Hairdresser, 'What do you think we should do with his hair?'. I froze, and gave that suspicious look at Mother. In the end, they suggested Washing and Blowing. Like I ever knew what that meant.
But I was saved, thanks to the hairdresser checking out my all too natural perms, and saying, 'Boy, you shouldn't tie up your hair. Just let it be. Besides, your hair also, like Jerry's from F4.' Now, I do have my manjan tendencies (just ask ard), but to say sthg like my hair is reminiscent of some dude from a Chinese band?? I just smiled sheepishly at her comment. Either way, I ended up poking fun at Mum, as she had these curlers attached to her hair, and ended up going home with them. Cute la you, even the little boy at the basket ball court was lookin' in amazement.
Now, to the juicy part. Liverpool 1 Man Utd 0. Yes, perhaps we did finally set the record straight, considering its been 85 years since we put one over the Devils. Still, I couldn't help but notice the bad blood spewin' over at Ah-neh's blog. Harh.
Aye, all I can say is, Devils, what's up with Vidic?? Ever wondered why we didn't pursue him any further?? And as for Alan Smith, well, his sad injury story just tickles my balls mate.. Still, there's still a good chance of putting one over us guys.. Oh yeah, you heard me right..
Chin up lads, you still have your League Cup to fight for.. Heh, pretty ironic how you guys once cheapened this trophy whenever we won it, but hey, silver lining ya?? GO GET EM TIGER!!!

Voodoo ChildLike the new song?? Groovy eh??
I was just f*ckin' impressed after watching Chua play it on his guitar.. Of course, after a crash course on scaling, like your C scales and Pentatonic ones..
Aye, I'm sure most of you do not know what I'm talking about, so just enjoy the song..
For now, this is one song I am gonna pick up.. Can't wait for my scaling lessons to start..
Well, I stand up next to a mountain
Chop it down with the edge of my hand
Well, I pick up all the pieces and make an island
Might even raise just a little sand

LET ME ENTERTAIN YOU!!!!Well, had to blog about the day, since this is sort of a journal cum lots more stuff all rolled into one..
Shall kick off with a sincere thank you to all the wonderful people, who wished me throughout the last 24hrs, some in fashions that one would not imagine..
Like how my cousin, Usha calls me at midnight, and makes me play this guessing game, that kinda revealed half of my phonebook. You better not gawk at the names I threw ah..
Or how Ms Cotton Candy keeps me company on MSN from 8pm till 1230am, just to be the first on MSN to wish me, and do a countdown too..
The best, though belonged to Mr JJ. This dude, is one fella who was like my close buddy back in primary school. Add to that, his greeting, was kinda unique. A webcam and a mic was all that were needed, and it even got my mum so surprised, she ended up waving at the monitor. Heh..
And of course, meeting up with Risshe and after that, Yanling. I tell you, Risshe is like this dude who was my toilet cleaning IC back in BMT, and we became really close ever since. It was good having those wonderful chats again, catching up with stuff, and talking crap as usual. Good luck with your surgery mate. TCC was a blast (for obvious reasons - heh)..
As for gd ol' Tanya Ling, well, I realised that she's another one of those who really looks out for me, and I guess our days in SPH really did strengthen our friendship. Had fun at Pastamania, though the clown was half the time asking me to check out this junior of hers, who was sitting next to us. Heh, and yepz, window shopping as well as our long overdue chit-chats were a real delight too. Tina Teo and Tassha Lee, you were sorely missed..
To the both of you, thanks for the treats..
Rounding it up, you have Mark, Jon, Mad and Satish suckering me up for the ultimate blanket party, and then, the unthinkable happened. My hair got cropped. Aye, just a lock of hair, thanks to that kway teow of a buddy, Mr Ahmad Hassan. And to think that the iron was badly needed by Satish and Ahmad. Haha. As for the Black Label, that will sadly have to wait. But gd stuff nonetheless..

And to a certain Mr Robbie Williams, though I personally do not like you because of the bad blood between you and mi favorite band, I'd like to wish you a Happy Birthday. Sadly, we tend to share a few common traits, like that huge ego that we love parading around. Doesn't help when we share the same birthday too. Hopefully, your next album doesn't end up with daisies at your door step, like what you did after listening to Standing on the Shoulders of Giants. Though I gotta hand it to you, just for the originality.. Cheers bitch..
Oh, and last but not least, to my wonderful parents and sister. It was just beautiful when Mum came from behind and gave me a hug at midnight, and Dad was the first to wish me whilst I was lazing around in bed. And my dear Niva, thanks for the card. I know you read my blog, you kway teow, but the words inside, were really deep. Love you all..
Song of the Day: Stand by Me by Oasis - was being played by this live band just outside Wisma. Sure flooded back memories of my OCS days, especially the time when my frens performed during a Happy Hour.. Just love that song..
Action of the Day: Getting my ears pierced. Long overdue, since the last time I removed my earrings, the holes closed up within a day. Risshe ended up doing the 'Thai maaman' (referred to the mum's brother; basically, an uncle) rites at 77th street..
Surprise of the Day: You'd be shocked, that the ladies who called to wish me, were all my cousins.. Blood is indeed, thicker eh??
Thanks everyone. You sure made my day!!!! =)

What a year brings...Its funny, when you look back to exactly a year ago, and you look at situations now, you will be quite surprised at the kinda things that stand, and go..
1) Yeah, it was my 21st birthday. What a party that was. One for the ages, and yet, now its been exactly a year since that fateful night..
2) The Kaiz, that would be my dear Anu, Suresh, Marie, Prabhu and Sathis. Its been a rough long year, but to be given one of the best surprise lunches at Thai Express, and not forgetting that spicy noodles Prabhu and I tried, and kind got our stomachs churning after that. Thanks guys, what would I ever do without you people..
3) The wine bottle. Guess its a tradition already, that I get a bottle of wine every year. Last year, it was from good ol' Kok Yong, this year, it was a complimentary gift from Thai Express. Time to stock up my little wine cellar at home. Harh..
4) Irfan and Aisha. These kids, I can probably write a book about them. Last year, Irfan sneakily blew off my candles (caught on tape), and this year, he is looking forward to celebrating it again.
5) The TP Gang. This too, has to be the story of the last year. I remember getting arrowed to this bunch of students, who turned out to be some of my really good pals. And to think that a year later, we all have been constantly in contact, and it just seemed like old times at Jolene's birthday party. Good stuff Tina Teo!!!
6) This one, has to be a biggest shout-out and probably, a pat to the back, to this really amazing girl whom I just got to know recently. Okie, not that recent la, but we only started talking really well and boy, am I damn glad for her. Why??
COZ MS MENA IS THROUGH TO THE NEXT RD OF SINGAPORE IDOL!!!! Amazing innit?? An indian girl, who always had the dream to be a singer, has made it to the next round. I really hope I aint jinxing the poor girl, but am damn glad for her la..
She's actually a close mate of Niva, and I remember my sister asking me, if I was cool with Mena performing at my birthday party. I was like, Okie!! Then when she started her Alicia Keys number, everyone were just mesmerized by her singing.
Aye, I can continue waxing lyrical about her, so do keep a look-out for her.
YOU GOT MY SMS VOTES BABE!!! 7) The most important trivia. My hair. Last cut it about a year ago.
Have a nice day dudes and dudettes!!

Cock Up!!!I need help..
My body clock's kinda screwed already..
I sleep at 5pm, and wake up at 11pm..
I study from then, till morning..
I go to school then..
I have finished one loaf of wholemeal bread in the span of 24 hrs..
That included two tuna cans, and a bit of peanut butter..
Been downing milo like an Ah Peh in your coffee shop..
My bed, is like my wife.. No, not that I have wet dreams on it, but rather, once I'm on it, I can't seem to escape from 'her'..
Speaking of dreams, I've had two really weird ones ; one involving a crazy attempt at rescuing my mum, who was about to commit suicide, and another, my sister is in OCS, and is preparing to go for JCC (Jungle Confidence Course for the mofos who do not know the meaning)..
And lastly, my breaks consist of just one thing, hacking into the wonderful NTU network, and watching movies from a variety of channels, all from the comforts of my laptop..
To steal a phrase from OS Office, COCK UP, I TELL YOU!!!!
Hall Life - Its been a blast!

Celebrity Bitchings Part IOn Fred Durst:-
"All I gotta think of is Fred Durst's red baseball cap, and I get very hostile." - METALLICA's LARS ULRICH
Nova's bite: Yes Lars, but I quite do not know, if its just the cap, or his fucked up face..
"He's just creepy. Watching him struggle will be ugly, so turn your head." - COURTNEY LOVE on FRED DURST
Nova's bite: Ermm, if anything, watching you makes my stomach roll. Pity the late husband of yours..
Fred Durst bites back:-
"'Agreeance is a word in the Oxford English Dictionary . . . kiss my ass." -- FRED DURST
Nova's bite: And so was, the Nookie.. Sometimes, I wonder at your intelligence.
On Michael Jackson:-

"If he'd been my kid, I would have whacked him too, because he's nuts." -- OZZY OSBOURNE on Michael Jackson
Nova's bite: Imagine having the Prince of Darkness as your father. WHO'S YOUR DADDY??
"I feel bad for the guy. You hate to see anyone fall apart. Nevertheless, he should keep his fucking hands off my kids."-- DAVE GROHL on Michael Jackson
Nova's bite: I hear ya Dave, and to think most of our indian boys aspire to be the next MJ. Hmm, STAY OFF MY KIDS!!!
And when the creators of Radio Supernova shoot off:-

"Being famous is great. I can't understand Eddie Vedder. I mean, lad, if you hate your job, why don't you f*cking work at a car wash?" -- OASIS' NOEL GALLAGHER
Nova's bite: Aye there, you're talking about the perennial band hopper here. I bet he'd be shifting between car washes too.
"Who gives a f*ck about people who aren't fans of Oasis? They can go listen to their Sum 41 records." -- NOEL GALLAGHER
Nova's bite: I hear ye..
"Me and Liam can physically punch holes out of each otherand then go: What time are we on?" -- OASIS' NOEL GALLAGHER
Nova's bite: The trouble with having a family-run business.. But hey, you guys have entertained me no end with your fights..
"A lot of bands split up on snap decisions and stupid arguments. I tend to keep my mouth shut a lot more now and just go home and kick the next door neighbor's cat." - OASIS' NOEL GALLAGHER
Nova's bite: First class Anger Management.. If you can't whack the fella, whack the cat..

Mission ACCOMPLISHED!!!Yes, after three long weeks filled with near misses, I finally caught the Sausage McMuffin with Egg.
Caught the movie, Harold and Kumar Goes to White Castle?? I never could quite feel for the characters, until I stood in line, and when it came to my turn, I guess the lady at the counter must have freaked out at the huge smile I was giving her, whilst saying, "
Could I have a Sausage McMuffin with Egg please?".
The stuff that dreams are made of. The price I had to pay - losing one whole night's sleep, just to try and comprehend the C language. Pulled up an overnighter at Jensen's place, and as you may have noticed, come 4am, we ended up editing the wonderful production you MUST SEE below.
Off to sleep now. The nocturnal feeling, its coming back, and I'm beginning to dread it again.
'I don't know what it is that makes me feel alive
I don't know how to wake the things that sleep inside
I only want to see the light that shines
Behind your eyes'
- Acquiesce by Oasis

The 3G Solider..Here's a video dedicated to our warriors in green. And of course, to the buddy next to me, who is entering NS this year and a certain Mr Sri Saravanan.
