Faraway, So Close..

Doing Western Film History has its perks, especially for an avid movie buff like me. I'm sure almost everyone's on holidays, so to those who do not know what to do, catch these two movies..
Wings of Desire (1987) and its sequel, Faraway, So Close (1993). They're in German, but the torrents at mininova have english subs. Amazing movies with intriguing plots, I must add..

A few sidenotes:-

1) Stay (Faraway, So Close) is a song by U2, penned for this movie.

2) Wings of Desire was a mega-hit in Europe, so much so that a decade later, Hollywood made an American remake. This remake was titled, City of Angels.. =)
