Spare the rod, spoil the child...

Ah yes, often we wonder, if my kid grows up to be a brat, how do I go about disciplining him? Face it, tough love's the one thing that will get your child to grow up, into a somewhat decent person in society. An ECW-like situation can do wonders too.

Of course, the best punishments meted out, are the ones that get into the head of the kid. Mind games, they just suck out every ounce of hope in the kid, leaving him in tears, wondering, "Shit, I am definitely done for now. There is, no escape.".

So here are, some of the first class tips, that the Supernova himself has come up, for all you stars out there.

1) Bring your kid to the toilet, along with the cane. Fill up a pail of water, and ask him to soak it for like an hour, whilst muttering into his ears that the cane would slowly swell up, so that you can whack him the next day.

2) Open up that drawer in your studyroom (no, not the one with backdated issues of FHM), but the one that contains, the collection of canes over the years. They are the ones, that come in various sizes and dimensions. Then, give him the luxury of choosing which cane he'll like to be whacked with. Different sizes come with different repititions - the smaller the diameter, the larger the reps.

3) Tug him along for a visit to the mama-shop. Give him a dollar, and ask him to buy a cane of his own choice. Make sure he pays the aunty/uncle for it. Pek-chek, man.

4) If caning gets a wee-bit boring, try leaving burns. Or at least, threaten to do so. Show the kid that you have started the stove, and the spoon used for the unwanted branding, is getting heated up. If the kid still doesn't feel somewhat threatened, proceed to Plan B.

B for burning.

5) This one never fails. ECW-style. Everything goes. Skipping ropes, hangers, sticks, toy swords. Name it. Use it.

With that, I end, my rather psychotic post.

Disclaimer:-
1)The above mentioned works for kids aged 7-12.

2)No, I do not harbour such sadistic thoughts. Though sometimes, they seem rather amusing measures.
